This Black Friday, Secure Cultures will have a booth at the second annual Black August in the Park event in Durham, NC. This will be our first event since the line was launched. This is a big deal to us because it is one thing to get the brand out there to the world. It's another thing to have it out there in your hometown. I went to school in Durham at North Carolina Central University, and was raised in Raleigh. So having Secure have a strong presence locally is a special feeling to me. It would be a dream come true to be driving around and see someone wearing the brand. That's close to impossible when your line is everywhere but where you are. This event encourages the supporting of black businesses. My nerves are bad but far from scared. This is what it's all about. This is how you get in the game. We gotta do what we gotta do to get this thing where it need to be in order for our message to be heard and for our dreams to come true. The Culture is strong and we always gotta find ways to make it even stronger. So, if you are in the Raleigh-Durham area this Black Friday, come out and show Secure Cultures some love.
